The Enigma magic mushroom is a rare mutation stemming from two powerhouse cubensis strains, Penis Envy and Tidal Wave. Due to its unusual shape of dense mycelium kernels, the Enigma mushroom does not produce spores. Instead, it remains within a single generation through clones.

This makes cultivating Enigma mushrooms a unique challenge. Without spores, traditional propagation methods are not an option. Instead, growers must rely on tissue culture techniques to clone and perpetuate the mutation. This Psilocybe cubensis strain was used to make the PolkaDot chocolate bar.
